THUNDER BAY – The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District fell to three Friday, with no new cases reported for a fourth straight day.
The active case count fell by one as the Thunder Bay District Health Unit retracted a previously reported case from its count.
"Retractions will occasionally occur following review of reported cases and quality audits," the health unit stated in its daily report.
Active case counts have remained below five throughout the month of July in the district, after reaching as high as 81 in June.
There were no district residents in hospital with the virus as of Friday.
