THUNDER BAY -- Starting on Monday, it will take a little longer to get inside Intercity Shopping Centre.
The mall on Sunday announced it will be limiting entry points to the shopping centre and will conduct active shopper screening on everyone wishing to enter the mall.
"The entrance closest to Marshall's and the entrances closest to the former Lowe's will be the only doors open to the public until the requirement to actively screen is lifted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Sport Chek and Marshall's entrances will be open and they will be screening as well," reads a post on Intercity's Facebook page.
A QR code link to the self-screening document is being added to the mall's website and will be posted at the entry doors. Those who do not have access to a phone or data can be screened verbally at the door.
"You will have to show the completed checkmark with date upon entry," the post reads.
