THUNDER BAY — A man who is believed to be responsible for stealing multiple vehicles now faces additional charges.

Thunder Bay police on Thursday said 32-year-old Nathan Hutchinson now faces a total of 30 different charges connected to several incidents, including vehicle thefts and fleeing from police.

Ongoing investigation from the police service's break and enter and robbery unit led to Hutchinson being connected to multiple other incidents.

Additional charges laid last week include dangerous driving, two counts of flight from police, two counts of possession of stolen property, and breach of probation.

He had previously faced several charges after attempting to evade officers in two different stolen vehicles late last month.

Hutchinson remains in custody with future appearance dates scheduled.
