DRYDEN, Ont. – One person was taken to hospital following an assault in Dryden Sunday night.
Dryden Police Service responded to a disturbance at a residence on Clearwater Crescent on Sunday night around 9 p.m.
Police say a 29-year-old male had been assaulted and suffered significant lacerations to his head.
He was transported to the Dryden Regional Hospital for treatment.
The suspect, a 31-year-old female, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken into custody by police.
Police have charged the 31-year-old with aggravated assault and breach of probation.
She remains in custody and will appear in bail court on April 10.
