THUNDER BAY – Police are investigating a Westfort assault that sent the female victim to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to have been inflicted by an assailant who she knew.
According to a release, the incident took place Wednesday around 6 p.m. on Yonge Street and Gore Street West.Police say the female victim of the assault was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
