Water bomber helps snuff small forest fire
A Ministry of Natural Resources water-bomber had to be called in to help deal with a small fire near the base of Mount McKay Tuesday.
The small fire was listed as being a tenth of a hectare, and under control with no property being threatened.
Despite the size of the fire, it is now officially known as Thunder Bay-18.
The fire hazard rating in the Northwest region is listed between and high and extreme.
