Thunder Bay’s airport continues to set new records for passenger traffic.
The Thunder Bay International Airport serviced more than 67,000 passengers during the month of August.
That's the busiest month in the airport's history, surpassing the old record set last August by more than a thousand passengers.
Airport CEO Scott McFadden credits the airport’s success to a larger aircrafts being used by Bearskin and Wasaya Airways, along with extra flights to and from Toronto by both Porter and Air Canada.
