Police officers have concluded their investigation and say alcohol was not a factor in a recent snowmobile crash that killed a man near Ear Falls Tuesday.
Marcel Santerre, 23, of Geraldton, was fatally injured when he collided with a hydro guide wire on his snowmobile. The collision took place about 25 kilometres outside of Ear Falls.
Two other snowmobilers brought Santerre to the Ear Falls Emergency Medical Services facility, but the man died from his injuries.
Northwest region OPP officers announced Thursday that they had concluded their investigation into the incident. Police say foul play is not suspected.
