THUNDER BAY -- Motorists travelling on North Algoma Street on Tuesday morning encountered an unexpected detour.
Barricades had been erected at the River Street intersection and at the Camelot Street intersection.
During the noon hour, the city issued a news release announcing that the Sewer and Water Division is replacing a manhole at the Algoma/Harrington Court intersection.
It said the work will keep that stretch of Algoma closed for up to 72 hours.
