Alleged drunk driver charged following Kenora crash

(KENORA, ON)  Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have charged a female following a motor vehicle collision in the City of Kenora.

On Tuesday January 19, 2016 at approximately 7:30 pm, the Kenora OPP received a report of a single motor vehicle collision in the north end of Kenora.  .

Police attended and found the vehicle was still at the scene.  The female driver was located shortly after and it was determined she had been consuming alcohol.  She was arrested and transported for further tests. 

As a result of the investigation, a 26 year old Kenora woman has been charged with Impaired Driving, Driving with More than .80 mg of Alcohol in Blood and Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

She is to appear in Kenora Court on March 3, 2016 to answer to the charges.
