Alppila Road closed north of Highway 102 due to flooding

OPP Thunder Bay detachment news release: 

 

(THUNDER BAY, ON) Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to advise the motoring public of a temporary road closure.

The road closure on Alppila Road, 1.1 kilometres north of Highway 102, is closed due to flooding over the roadway. The road closure spans for approximately 1 kilometre. The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) are currently at the closure and have barricades erected at the roadway closure.

Travellers should consult with the MTO Travellers Road Information Portal at www.ontario.ca/511 or call “511” for provincial highway information.
