THUNDER BAY -- The area's construction season saw a big boost in apartment construction last month.
A recent report published by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation shows there were 88 units started in October, an enormous jump from the four recorded in the same month last year.
There were also 21 new housing starts reported in October.
So far this year the total number of single and multiple housing starts is at 304, which is less than the 348 reported last year.
