The inflation rate for this area dropped in April.
New data from Statistics Canada shows that inflation held at zero in APril, a drop from 0.6 per cent the month before.
The drop puts pace of inflation in the Thunder Bay area in line with the provincial average. Across the province the inflation rate dropped 0.4 per cent in April, and 1 per cent in March.
The April inflation rate for this area is the fourth lowest rate among major Canadian urban centres.
