THUNDER BAY -- The area's inflation rate remained unchanged in December, Statistics Canada numbers show.
Recently released data shows that the inflation rate for this area in December stayed at 0.3 per cent, which is the same rate recorded in November.
That gives this area one of the lowest rates of inflation in the country when compared to other major centres.
Calgary, Victoria and Edmonton all recorded lower inflation rates in December.
The national average rate of inflation was 0.8 per cent in December.
