Area man charged with child pornography offences

A Couchiching First Nation man has been arrested and charged with child pornography offenses. 

Officials with the Fort Frances detachment of the OPP says 35-year-old Eric Morrisseau was taken into custody Tuesday after officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the First Nation community. 

Four computers, a hard drive, discs and printed materials were seized following the search. 

Morriseau now faces a total of five charges, including making, accessing and possessing child pornography.
