Area man facing child porn charges

A 39-year old Emo man has been charged with possession of child pornography. 

Tuesday officers with the OPP searched John Paul Muzyka's home and seized a number of items including his computer, gaming equipment, hard drive and memory cards. 

Police also seized a firearm and ammunition.

 Muzyka has been charged with possession of child pornography, careless storage of a firearm and failing to comply with a court order.

He appeared in court Wednesday and is now in police custody. His next court appearance will be July 18 in Fort Frances.
