The Shuniah Police Services Board is scheduled to host an information meeting Thursday evening.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Shuniah municipality office, will focus on the new Ontario mobilization and engagement model of community policing.
The new model includes enforcement and crime suppression, community engagement and liaison, community mobilization, crime prevention and community safety, and consultation.
The Shuniah municipality office is located at 420 Leslie Avenue in Thunder Bay.
