A male suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash after an armed robbery at an Algoma Street South corner store Wednesday evening.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the male suspect robbed Folino’s just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. No one was reported injured as a result of the robbery.
Police say the male suspect was armed with a knife and was last seen on foot heading southbound on Algoma Street South.
The suspect is described as an Aboriginal man between the ages of 20- and 30-years old. He stood about five-feet-seven-inches tall, had a medium build and a scar on his cheek and nose. The suspect wore a black zip-up sweater, black toque and jeans at the time of the robbery.
