Armed robbers strike at Oliver Road Mac's

City police are investigating a convenience store robbery that featured two suspects wielding knives.

Thunder Bay Police Service Media Release:

The Thunder Bay Police Service is currently investigating a robbery that occurred at the Macs Convenience store located on Oliver Road.

Two males with knives and wearing bandana to conceal their identity entered the store at approximately 4:15 a.m. on September 4th, 2016. One male approached the 20 year old male employee and demanded he open the till.

The employee complied with the demands and the suspect left with some cash.

They were seen running in the direction of Oliver Road and Dalton Street. The area was checked but officers were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described as being Native Canadian males approximately 6' tall.

One was wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, shoes and a hat. The second male was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and shoes with black pants and hat.
