Atikokan woman charged for allegedly stealing prescription drugs
An Atikokan woman has been charged following a six-month investigation into the theft of prescription drugs.
Officials with the OPP say the police force was alerted to the thefts from the Atikokan General Hospital pharmacy in April.
As a result of the investigation a hospital employee has been charged with theft under $5,000 and criminal breach of trust.
Cynthia Carolyn King, 39, has been released from custody and will next appear in Atikokan Provincial Court on Dec. 12.
