Evacuees from Attawapiskat First Nation could be returning home soon.
Residents of the remote, fly-in First Nation began evacuating to various locations across Northeastern and Northwestern Ontario after flooding led the community to declare a state of emergency.
Residents evacuated to Thunder Bay could be leaving this city and returning home as early as Thursday.
Meanwhile, Emergency Management Ontario is still working on plans to get the 350 displaced residents staying in Greenstone home.
Another 64 residents were evacuated to Fort Frances. Those evacuees may have to wait a while longer before they can return home.
