A Battle of the Atlantic Commemoration is set to take place in the city at the Anchorage in Prince Arthur’s Landing Sunday.
The event is scheduled to take place between 2 and 2:40 p.m. HMCS Griffon‘s ships company will be joined by various naval organizations and associations during that time.
The commemoration honours the sailors, both from the military and Merchant Marine, who gave their lives while maintaining the trans-Atlantic sea lanes during the Second World War.
