High levels of E.Coli at the Poplar Lodge Beach in Beardmore have prompted the Thunder Bay District Health Unit to issue a warning over swimming there.
Recent testing isn't closing the beach but the health unit warns against swallowing water in the area and suggests towelling off and showering after swimming there.
The latest samples were taken on Aug. 13. Two successive tests must prove E.Coli has fallen to acceptable levels before the warning will be dropped.
