Body discovered by Dryden OPP identified

Ontario Provincial Police in Dryden say foul play is not suspected in the death of Susan Tilley.

DRYDEN, Ont. -- OPP have identified the individual whose body was found in the Turtle River Road area off Highway 502.

Ontario Provincial Police had been looking for 39-year-old Susan Tilley of Dryden since the afternoon of April 11.

At the time of her disappearance, they said she had last been seen on April 6 in the Dryden area, and that she was scheduled to drive to Fort Frances that day in her compact car.

On Monday, OPP announced that a body had been found a short distance from Tilley's vehicle in the vicinity of Turtle River Road.

In a release issued Thursday morning, OPP confirmed the identity of the person as Susan Tilley.

A post mortem examination was completed at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto. No foul play is suspected.
