The Criminal Investigations Branch of the TBPS continues to investigate the suspicious death of 38 year old Clayton Chuck Mawakeesic.
Mr. Mawakeesic's body was discovered on July 29, 2016 in the McIntyre River near Waterford Street.
A post mortem examination was conducted in Toronto on August 2, 2016. Investigators and the coroner are now reviewing the results.
This afternoon, investigators, assisted by Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue will be continuing an examination of the scene of where Clayton's body was discovered.
