Bombardier and the union representing more than 700 striking workers have reached a tentative deal.
Canadian Auto Workers union Local 1075 president Dominic Pasqualino said they were called to the bargaining table at 9 a.m. Wednesday, and the bargaining committees spent the day negotiating.
Around 6 p.m. Wednesday Pasqualiono said the two sides had reached their tentative agreement. He added that workers will likely vote on the tentative deal on Saturday.
The striking workers now on the picket line in front of the local plant on Montreal Street will remain until the deal is ratified.
