Bombardier workers could begin strike on Tuesday

Workers at Thunder Bay’s Bombardier plant could go on strike as early as Tuesday. The Canadian Auto Workers union is in intense negotiations with Bombardier. The union represents more than 700 local workers. A deadline has been set for 4 p.m.

The Canadian Auto Workers union is in intense negotiations with Bombardier. The union represents more than 700 local workers.

A deadline has been set for 4 p.m. Tuesday to make a deal. If there’s no deal by that time, the union is expected to strike immediately.

Representatives from the union did not want to comment until the deadline had past.
