THUNDER BAY -- Another one of Bombardier's customers is expressing concerns about delivery delays for transit vehicles from the Thunder Bay plant.

This time, it's regarding the Pilot cars for Metrolinx and its new Eglinton Crosstown line.

The first Pilot car was supposed to be delivered by August, but it remains under construction at the local plant.

Bombardier officials said it should be ready and delivered in two to three weeks.

They said the focus should be on the progress they're making on that light-rail vehicle.

The local plant is only responsible for producing the five pilot cars for testing.

The main production order for 182 LRT vehicles for Metrolinx was transferred to Bombardier's Kingston plant earlier this year.

The move was meant to allow the Thunder Bay plant to focus on building Toronto's streetcar order, which is far behind schedule.
