One of Thunder Bay's longest-lasting Christmas charity parties came to an end last year.
The "Stu Kennedy Bash" wrapped after 40 years. Now, a pair of brothers are hoping to fill that void. Jake and Zac Donatis are busy organizing the first annual Christmas "Party for a Cure". The event takes place Dec. 23 at Aden on Brown Street, and will feature prizes, food, music, and dancing. The Grand Prize is a $2,500 trip to an all-inclusive destination.
Jake Donatis said their goal is to raise $5,000 for breast and prostate cancer research. Tickets can be picked up at local businesses for $10.
