A Thunder Bay Transit bus was involved Wednesday afternoon in a collision with a parked vehicle on Algoma Street.

A witness said a vehicle driving south on Algoma stopped suddenly in front of the bus, whose driver hit the brakes and slid into the parked vehicle.

The driver of the parked vehicle was injured slightly, according to the witness, though emergency crews on scene did not confirm. The bus driver was not injured.

Police remind motorists that conditions are slippery on city streets and advise caution.
