Officials with the Regional Health Sciences Centre say a Clostridium difficile outbreak at the facility is under control.
Six cases of C. difficile were reported on a unit of the hospital late last week. But since then, no new infections have popped up.
The outbreak status will remain in place until the threat of infection has passed.
In the meantime, visitors and patients are being asked to wash their hands and practice other prevention measures.
