Canada Post is taking some unique measures to ensure evacuees get their mail.
Letters and parcels sent to the Keewaywin First Nation are being sent to Geraldton for pickup by those residents.
The mail for Cat Lake residents will be held until further notice at the Dryden distribution centre.
Plans are still in the works for North Spirit and Sandy Lake residents. Getting mail to those residents could prove more complicated as there are multiple evacuation sites involved.
