A Thunder Bay driver had to be extricated from his car following a two-vehicle collision Monday evening.
The incident took place around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Onion Lake Road and Lancaster Avenue, between a car and an SUV.
It is believed the vehicles were trying to avoid a transport parked on the side of the road at the time of the collision.
The car suffered major damage after rolling over and landing on its roof.
Passers-by had to kick in the window and cut the seat belt to free the driver.
Three people were examined by paramedics on the scene.
Police say there were no major injuries.
