THUNDER BAY -- Senior citizens now have a one-stop shop for information and contacts that they may find very useful in and around the city.
The Caregivers Support Committee has compiled the information and have made a handbook available for free to seniors.
Two years of labour went into making the Seniors Community Information Guide. The last time a guide like this one was put out was 2009.
The committee says the handbook will continue to be updated as the information it contains will change over time and it is important to keep it relevant.
Burke says the handbooks are available at the 55 plus centre, the Herb Carroll Center or the 211 office in Victoriaville Mall.
