Another Thunder Bay property owner has been ticketed for failing to have a working smoke alarm
The latest incident comes following at Nov. 21 fire at a Brant Street home. The fire broke out in a second storey bedroom and was extinguished quickly with all residents escaping without injury.
An investigation determined the cause was careless smoking.
The investigation also determined there was no working smoke alarm o the main floor of the home, as required.
The charge against the homeowner carries a $360 fine.
