THUNDER BAY – The separate schoolboard has reached a deal with the union representing its custodial staff.
In a media release issued Tuesday morning, officials with the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board confirmed they had reached a contract with UNIFOR.
“We are pleased with the settlement, which was approved by the board at a special meeting earlier this week,” said Pino Tassone, the board’s director of education.
The three year deal affects nearly 90 custodians and will expire on Aug. 31, 2017.
