(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) – Nearly one year ago today, on June 19, 2014, members of the Sioux Lookout OPP responded to a report of a capsized vessel on Lost Lake in the Hamlet of Hudson, approximately 20 kilometres west of Sioux Lookout. From that incident, 39 year old Kevin BRISKETT, 30 year old William CHISEL, and 19 year old Simon CHISEL of Frenchman’s Head, all passed away.

A full investigation into the circumstances that lead up to the incident was conducted by members of the North West Region Highway Safety Division and the North West Region Crime Unit, along with members of the Sioux Lookout OPP Detachment. As a result of the investigation, two persons, both from Frenchman’s Head, have been charged.

36 year old Cameron ANGECONEB has been charged with three counts of Impaired Operation of a Vessel Causing Death, Sec. 255(3), Criminal Code and three counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Sec. 220 Criminal Code. 27 year old Tyrone TROUT has been charged with three counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Sec. 220 of the Criminal Code.

Both are released from custody and are to appear in Sioux Lookout court on July 28, 2015.
