Organizers and sponsors of the 14th annual Parade of Lights celebrated their efforts with a cheque presentation ceremony Tuesday afternoon.
The Thunder Bay Police Association’s event, sponsored by TbayTel and Dougall Media, had more than 60 lit up vehicles travel along the parade route this past December, and raised $19,308.
The nearly $20,000 raised will benefit four local children’s charity.
Benefiting charities include:
- Autism Ontario, Thunder Bay and District

Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association
The money presented to the charities on Tuesday will help those organizations provide service to youth in the community.
