A parcel full of pot won’t find its way under anyone’s tree this Christmas season.

OPP officers in Fort Frances intercepted the package that was being sent in the mail.

The courier package contained more than three kilograms of marijuana. The parcel was sent from British Columbia to a man in Emo, Ont., earlier this month.

Police confiscated the drugs, which they estimate have a potential street value of $73,000.

Police say a 35-year-old man is now in custody, and will appear in court on Jan. 13, 2014.
