The music students of Churchill High School unveiled a piece of original music they composed Tuesday.

The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra performed the song, which is meant to symbolize our city.

The symphony came to Churchill Tuesday morning for the special performance. The composition by the Grade 10 and 11 music class was created with assistance from Toronto-based composer Brian Current, who got together with the students in January to create the piece.

It is made up of different melodies and rhythms developed by the students and revolve around a variety of sounds, including door bells and nature sounds.

The piece is titled At Wolf's Head, and is supposed to reflect Thunder Bay in 2010.
