The Thunder Bay Art Gallery has a new corporate partner.
CIBC is helping launch the gallery's annual Summer Exhibition Series.
For the first time, the gallery has a corporate sponsor, which should help bring a variety of art exhibits to the city this summer. Three exhibits are on display now – Stitched, Night Garden, and It's Complicated.
Director Sharon Godwin said the sponsor has been an enormous help to the gallery.
CIBC's General manager Jason Bociurko said the bank has sponsored various activities at the gallery for the past five years, and added that it was a natural next step to finance the summer exhibition.
All three summer exhibits are on display until September.
