The City of Thunder Bay has announced the lineup for Movie Nights on the Waterfront.
The Family Series starts Friday, August 18 at Marina Park and runs each Friday and Saturday until September l.
There will also be three special screenings in the fall: The ThunderCon movie night September 22, the Culture Days screening on September 29 and the Halloween Movie Night on October 27.
The lineup includes:
Friday August 18 – Finding Dory
Saturday August 19 – Secret Life of Pets
Friday August 25 – Batman Lego Movie
Saturday August 26 – Over the Hedge
Friday September 1 – Fate of the Furious
Friday September 22 – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Friday September 29 – Sleeping Giant (hosted at the Kinsmen Youth Centre)
Friday October 27 – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Movies will start after sunset, once it is dark. In August this is around 9:00pm and gradually becomes earlier through the fall.
The city's Cultural Development & Events Supervisor, Ash Young, says food and beverages will be available each night, or you can bring your own snacks to enjoy. Spectators are advised to come early to get a good seat and visit local community groups and the craft station.
