THUNDER BAY -- City council withdrew its proposed code of conduct Monday night.
The code, which was set to be voted on after council decided to adopt one in its previous strategic plan, was withdrawn at the last minute Monday before council headed back into a closed session meeting.
The draft code sets out nine principles of conduct for members of council ranging from obeying all laws and respecting confidentiality to recognizing that the city wants its employees to have a work-life balance.
