THUNDER BAY — An investigation by Thunder Bay Police has led to a city resident being charged with possession of child pornography.
According to a news release from TBPS, the cyber crimes unit started investigating after receiving online tips in March of this year.
On June 6, members of the unit executed a search warrant at a north-end residence with assistance from officers with the community-oriented response and engagement (CORE) unit.
Twenty-three-year-old Jackson Jennings was arrested.
He appeared in court Thursday and was released with conditions to return to court at a future date.
The charge has not been proven in court.
