Curbside battery collection runs from April 14-24, 2015, and residents who didn’t receive a battery bag – or need more – have several options.
Bags are available for pick-up at all four branches of the Thunder Bay Public Library, EcoSuperior (562 Red River Road), or the second floor engineering desk at the Victoriaville Civic Centre in Victoriaville Mall.
Residents can also download and print the .pdf bag insert found at thunderbay.ca/batteries and insert it into your own resealable, clear bag to put batteries out for collection. A mailout of extra bags can also be requested by calling Infrastructure and Operations Dispatch at 625-2195.
Batteries will be picked up on your regular recycling day between April 14 and 24 – simply place your filled battery bag at the curb, and it will be picked up by city staff. Visit thunderbay.ca/batteries for more information.
