THUNDER BAY -- A Finlayson Street property owner has been ticketed for not installing a carbon monoxide detector.

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews responded to a call in July for a structural fire and found the home did not have a carbon monoxide detector and the installed smoke alarm was not working.

Thunder Bay's Fire Chief says it is unacceptable and each fine carries a minimum fine of $360.
