For the second time in two years, the city of Thunder Bay has terminated a contract with its concession provider at local rinks and golf courses.
The food and beverage stands had been operated by The Foxx Denn - Elements Restaurant since last spring, when the company was awarded a five-year contract for operating city concessions.
No reason has been given for the termination.
The responsibility has now been handed over to Tom Forsythe, the director of the city's golf courses, for the rest of the hockey season.
