The Super Mario Bros. Movie is one of eight being considered for Thunder Bay's Movie Nights in the Parks Series in 2023.

THUNDER BAY -- The City of Thunder Bay is looking for input from potential moviegoers ahead of the launch of this year's Movie Nights in the Parks series.

Residents are being asked to choose their two favourite films from a list of eight, a group that includes the blockbuster 2023 hit, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Disney's Encanto, 1982's E.T. and 2021's Sing 2

Other movies on the list are Stand By Me, Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey, Back to the Future and Grease, starring Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.

Movie Nights in the Park will be held on Aug. 10 at Vickers Park, Aug. 17 at Boulevard Lake, Aug. 24 at Vickers Park, and Oct. 15 at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre.
