City’s jobless rate falls in March

THUNDER BAY – The city’s jobless rate fell slightly in March. New numbers released by Statistics Canada shows Thunder Bay’s unemployment rate for March sat at 4.3 per cent, which is down from the 4.8 per cent recorded in February.

New numbers released by Statistics Canada shows Thunder Bay’s unemployment rate for March sat at 4.3 per cent, which is down from the 4.8 per cent recorded in February.

The Ontario average rested at 6.9 per cent in March.

Nationally, the jobless rate remains steady at 6.8 per cent.
