Police rule deaths homicide, identify victims

Police say Robert Lloyd Gray, 50, and Kory Lee Campbell, age 22, were killed, their bodies found at a Carl Avenue residence.

THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Police have identified a man and a woman found dead at a Carl Avenue residence and say evidence points to both deaths as homicides. 

In a release issued on Sunday night, police say Robert Lloyd Gray, 50, and Kory Lee Campbell, age 22, both of Thunder Bay, were found dead in the north-side home. 

Gray is originally from Mishkeegogammang First Nation, while Campbell also hailed from Cat Lake, Ont. 

The investigation has been taken over by the Thunder Bay Police Service's criminal investigations branch and updates will be provided in the coming days.
